If you like walking, the adjacent Meerendal farm lends itself to long walks between the vineyards with spectacular views. Early morning sunset views are magnificent therefore the name Alba which is "sunrise" in Italian.
Cycling enthusiasts have found Alba the ideal starting point to good rides between the farms and vineyards. The famous Cape Epic Cycle Tour starts at Meerendal Wine Farm just across the Vissershok Road.
We do offer out-rides on horseback and pony rides on the farm for the younger clients as well as horse riding lessons on request. Picnic baskets and blankets can be arranged on requests.
If you are a horse rider and own your own horses, you are welcome to bring your horses with you for a weekend and we would include stabling at R100.00 per day. There are lovely outrides to Meerendal and the surrounding areas, which you and your horses will enjoy.
